Your guide for the day is Captain John, bringing aboard years of professional experience, as well as 20 years of fishing experience on the Crystal Coast. Capt. John has fished professionally up and down the East Coast targeting every fish imaginable. Capt. John started as a mate in his early years, but since forth he has been the captain of his Fishing Charters as well as numerous of other boats. Capt. John has been featured numerous of times on the fishing show, "FinaoLive", which has been featured on BlackTiph multiple of times. Southern Voyage Fishing Charters offers a variety of trips, so make sure to check them out.
Capt. John runs a 26’ Pathfinder bay boat with room for 6 passengers, (4 passengers for Nearshore/Ocean Trips. Contact for consideration for up to 6 passengers.) It comes with all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are supplied, along with lures. You may bring your own rod and reel if you want.
You’ll target your catch by spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. John also allows fly fishing (client’s request), but you will need to bring your own fly gear. Capt. John thrives off the enjoyment of providing his clients with lifelong memories.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome!
You’ll have the help of a First Mate. A minimum 20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. It’s recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray) and sunglasses. Bottled waters are supplied. Alcohol is allowed, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
