Welcome to Sunset Dream East - This bright, gorgeous, clean home has expansive ocean vistas from the main living area. This home has a reverse floor plan with the living room, entirely equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a queen bed, and full bathroom on the top (3rd) floor. The bright living room has generous vistas, plenty of seating, a 42" flat screen T.V. complete with cable, a blue-ray dvd player, and stereo. The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. There are a wide variety of cooking silverware, modest appliances, spices, and cookware.

The second floor has 3 additional bedrooms. The master bedroom is ocean-side and has a king bed along with an en suite bathroom (including a double vanity, jetted tub, and walk-in shower), and two closets. This bedroom also has a sliding glass door which opens to a second deck. The second and third bedrooms are on this floor as well. The second bedroom has one queen bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. In addition, there is a second full bathroom on this floor.

Our home has high-speed internet and each bedroom has a flat screen TV, cable, and a dvd player. Each bedroom also has a ceiling fan.

The public beach access is conveniently located right across the street. There are beach chairs, body boards and sand toys available for your use. There is also an enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower.

Located roughly 3 miles from town, our home is convenient to eateries, stores, and Bogue Inlet Pier.

Linens are included with your stay. Absolutely no smoking or illegal drug use anywhere on the property.

Up to 2 dogs allowed. Family Animals must be kept of all furnishings and linens.

Insurance liability restricts the following breeds of dog: German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Wolf hybrids & other aggressive breeds.
Sorry, stringently NO CATS. We have severe allergy to cats.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this vacation home is near the beach. Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier and Emerald Forest Golf are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Beach Wheels Bike Rental. Flatwaters Paddling and Emerald Isle Adventures are also worth visiting. With kayaking, motor boating, and surfing/body boarding nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.

Finding your perfect rental:

• To find the best vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular New Bern attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
• Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. • Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
• Did your group have a wonderful stay? Many rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise.
