Short walking distance to grocery store, stores, movies, eateries, Putt-Putt, bicycle units, surfing units, bait stand, and more! Alluring sandy beach is never busy. Head east on beach and walk one mile to Bogue Pier, head west and walk 3 miles to the handsome "Point."

Rents Saturday to Saturday. Second floor condo, 2BR, 1-1/2B. 2Q rooms. Linens, bath towels and beach towels supplied. Entirely equipped kichen, washer/dryer, 2 cable TV's, DVD player, stereo with CD player, wireless hi-speed internet access. Spiral staircase to 2nd floor BR's. 2 decks. Good ocean view. About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this condo is in the city center and near the beach. Salty Pirate Water Park and Emerald Forest Golf are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. The Sweet Spot and Emerald Isle Adventures are also worth visiting.

When to reserve a New Bern rental home & When to go:

  • To book the best vacation home within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses.   • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on good ratings to stimulate future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
