There’s a fish with your name on it in Beaufort and Daddy Shark Charters will help you catch it!
These waters are home to Marlin, Wahoo, Albacore Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Sailfish, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Gray Triggerfish, Amberjack, Cobia, and more with any luck. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
Kids are welcome, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your adventure begins aboard a 52’ Hatteras offshore sport fishing vessel with room for 6 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Capt. Shannon will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
You can’t go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, come aboard with Daddy Shark Charters and get hooked!
