Grady Buoys Guide Service invites you to experience the stunning waters of Morehead City. With Captain James at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
You’re likely to fish for Black Drum, Bluefish, Bonito, Cobia, Flounder, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Redfish, Shad, Spanish Mackerel, Weakfish, Spotted Seatrout, Sheepshead, and more if conditions allow. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
You’ll step aboard a 23’ Jones Brothers Bateau Lite Tackle Edition center console with room for 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
