The open living space provides ample room to appreciate time together, prepare meals, play games, dip into a favorite beach read, or simply embrace the vibrant vistas of the sunshine and surf. The enclosed back porch offers additional space to relax while the oceanside deck delivers superb vistas of the Atlantic, pleasant cadences of the waves, and simple access to the beach.

~1200 sq ft of ocean view living space across the street from the beach with two beach accesses — both only three homes away in either direction (see highlighted photos). "Coolpepper's Cabana" contains everything needed to experience a classic family beach vacation in Emerald Isle. Come savor its uncrowded beach strand located in one of the quieter parts of the island.

  • To book the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite New Bern restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses.
