A Place At The Beach offers broad amenities and one of the best family getaways imaginable - there's practically no reason to ever leave the resort grounds!

Can’t you just see the excitement on your kids’s faces as they approach the outdoor swimming pool and water slide or the nine-hole putt-putt golf course? Don't forget about the hot tub, the shuffleboard, the tennis and basketball courts, the game room, and the gas grilles. There's even an indoor pool should the rain ever decide to move in. Ready to hit the beach? You can follow the walkway to the handsome, white sand of the Crystal Coast and ride the waves, soak up the sun, or collect seashells.

This gorgeously updated condo is located on the first floor and has all the amenities of home, including plenty of seating in the living room where you can appreciate your favorite shows on the huge flatscreen cable TV or watch a DVD. Step outside, have a seat on the balcony, and relax as you breathe in the fresh ocean air. There's also a completely equipped kitchen with all the necessary major and modest appliances (including a stacked washer/dryer), a dining table for six, and additional seating at the counter.

The primary bedroom features a king bed, a TV, a ceiling fan, private balcony access, and a private bathroom with a stall shower. The second bedroom, located near the second full bathroom, has a twin-over-double bunk bed and a single trundle bed to accommodate many sleeping configurations. The second bedroom also has an enclosed ceiling fan with dimmable light, and a TV and DVD combo for streaming or viewing movies. The second bedroom TV is not connected to cable. Free WiFi is included for your ease and convenience as well.

Sticking to a rental home budget:

  • Booking in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.

  • Be a good neighbor. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Protect your property!
  • Double-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a great vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
