Our top New Bern rental booking tips:

When to reserve a New Bern rental & When to go:

  • To get the best value, change your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some owners offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Often, property management companies supply New Bern area visitor guide magazines which will include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find New Bern visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Selecting the perfect rental:

  • Select a group lead, select your vacation week, and choose a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Lucky Strike, Oceanfront House in Emerald Isle, NC! has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property management company before you book the property. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to establish which bed configuration is optimal for your group.
  • Does your family require particular amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or charges might be applied to your agreement.
