Spending time at the shore is the ultimate antidote to all that ails you! With that in mind, unit 6 at The Oceans could be considered a panacea with its expansive vistas of the sand and sea and the sounds of the surf in the distance.
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted with a mix of modern amenities and sleek style in the form of high-end design and charming details. Each room is rich with unique features that add interest and beauty and will make you feel like your time spent at this one-of-a-kind home will be as exceptional as the property itself.
Sunlight is ample in every room, especially the living space, lined with glass doors that look out to the ocean. The warmth of the wood floors balances the dark cabinets and cool granite countertops, and the textural look and feel of the shiplap, tongue and groove and textured white walls add interest everywhere you turn.
The bathrooms are spa-like and inviting, with elegant tilework and glassed-in showers for the generously sized bedrooms. You will never want to leave!
Having time to take in the salty sea breezes, listen to the seagulls, and watch the waves roll in is a significant part of the joy of a coastal hideaway vacation.
At The Oceans 6, you can marvel at the clarity of the Crystal Coast and take in the Carolina colors of the skyline, from sunrise to sunset, right from your balcony. Or, head straight to the sand mere steps from your door.
Search for shells, build sandcastles till dusk, walk to the pier to admire the stars in the moonlight, or go for a paddle with friends and family from the day dock.

How to find the best Pine Knoll Shores rental experience:
Getting the best value:
- The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Reserving your rental property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
- Booking your New Bern vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is a great way to save on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property managers frequently offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local New Bern area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides have coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.
Make a plan and choose your prefect New Bern rental home:
- To start, have your family agree to the best dates and a maximum budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration your family needs. Oceans #6- Stunning Ocean Front Condo has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly available on booking websites. If they are not listed, contact the property management company before booking your rental. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks.
- Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or charges may be applied to your contract.
- Visiting for a specific attraction or event? Use a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
Know before you go:
- Store the host's contact information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few problems.
- Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
- Document any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if damages are assessed.
- Respect the neighborhood. Often, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
- Did you have a excellent stay? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
