The Sandbar is a beautiful single-family home located just two tons from the ocean, offering unobstructed ocean vistas and direct beach access! Appreciate your own private pool (please note that it cannot be heated) and relax in this delightfully furnished space.

This roomy home features 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, with an open floor plan that provides ample comfortable seating for dining and calming while appreciating the ocean scenery. The completely equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave, a breakfast bar with seating for 4, and a dining table for 8. Sleeping arrangements include: King • Queen • 2 Singles • Bunk Bed (Double-down and Double-up).

Stay entertained with 6 Intelligent TVs (YouTube TV supplied instead of cable), Wi-Fi, and appreciate the comfort of central air and heat, ceiling fans, a washer/dryer, and a cozy gas fireplace. Step outside to the furnished double decks with ocean vistas, accessible from three bedrooms and the great room.

The cavernous master suite features a private bath with double sinks, a separate shower, and a jetted tub. The top-floor bedroom also features a delightful ocean view and a private bath with a shower. The two bedrooms on the middle level share a centrally located full bath.

Additional amenities include an enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower, a gas grille, and the 12x20 private pool. There's carport parking, and you'll also find bicycles, body boards, pool floats, beach toys, puzzles, and games for additional fun!

Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
