  • 1 Bathrooms
  • Condo
  • Approximately 300 square feet

This Cozy, Upgraded 2nd floor studio is located in a BEACHFRONT complex, roughly 50 steps to the beach! The property has a huge grassy recreation area and PRIVATE ACCESS to a handsome, SECLUDED BEACH for the enjoyment of peaceful strolls, shelling, sunbathing, and sunset walks. There is also a Coastal Bicycle Path for exhilarating jogs, bicycle rides, or walks. Watch Sun, Surf & Sand Vacation Units presents Ocean Sands on YT.

Our guests' safety and comfort are our number one priority and the space is professionally cleaned and thoroughly sanitized before your stay. There is no "shared air" as there is no enclosed lobby and the unit is an individual wall mounted a/c. This is a SMOKE-COMPLIMENTARY Oceanside Complex. The aerial photo shows how close you will stay to the beach as well as the location of your space within the building.

The interior features a queen bed, a full size futon, a kitchenette w/ appliances, flat screen Intelligent TV, and WiFi. Upgraded plank floor and elegant furnishings pieces accentuate the Modern Decor. Ideal for couples, singles, and families with modest kids. An Outdoor Pool, 3 Charcoal BBQ Grills, 2 Gazebos, and a fish cleaning station are available to guests.

This is a beachfront complex but your unit faces the road side of the complex and does NOT have a Direct Ocean View. You can savor Ocean vistas from the wraparound public balcony, and from the two Gazebos overlooking the Ocean.

There is no daily maid service but towel swap outs can be arranged for $10 upon request (paid directly to the cleaning service). There is a coin operated laundry room on site for longer stay guests.

Secure Free WiFi is supplied for your convenience. Many local eateries/stores are within walking distance. Dollar General is across the street and Food Lion is a mile away. Additional eateries, a movie theater, and a shopping center are a short drive away.

Ideal hideaway for a charming weekend, or a family getaway ...watch dolphins splash from the oceanside gazebo ... don’t miss the sunset over the ocean waves .... walk the sandy beach ... build a sandcastle with the kids ... surf cast for one of the many varieties of fish in our ocean waters ... watch surfers hang ten.... Jet-ski or Parasail ... take a jog, or ride your bicycle on the new Atlantic Beach bicycle trail ... feel the wind through your hair on the new Cape Lookout ferry... check out the wild Spanish ponies of Shackleford Banks.... take the kids to the new Atlantic Beach recreation park... and don't forget the exceptional NC Aquarium!

Suitability:
- Ideal for couples, singles, or modest families
- Max occupancy 4. Ideal for 2-3 adults or 2 adults-2 kids.
- Ocean Sands is a SMOKE COMPLIMENTARY COMMUNITY. No smoking on the premises. Thank you for understanding.

We have multiple units in the same complex, so If you need more than one unit, or if we do not have your dates available in this unit, message us for assistance so we can provide additional options.

Thank you and I look forward to seeing you at the beach :)

Tricks and tips for getting the best New Bern vacation rental experience:

Sticking to a spending plan:

  • Summertime is high season in the New Bern area. Reserve your New Bern vacation in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guide magazines contain deals for local shops and restaurants.

How to choose and book the rightrental:

  • Begin by choosing your vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. OCEANSIDE COMMUNITY_Private Beach Access_Pool_WiFi_Kitchen_BBQ Grill has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our New Bern vacation rental search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly available on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the property owner before booking the property. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches. You will need to work out what configuration is best for your group.
  • Looking for special amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or charges applied to your agreement.

During your stay:

  • Get the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your family's stay, record any problem areas during check in. Speak to the property manager immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers bothering your home life. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
