How to get the best Indian Beach rental experience:
Sticking to your budget:
- In the New Bern area, The earlier you can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
- Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. To get the most suitable rental home within budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite New Bern restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
- Owners sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
- Many management companies supply New Bern area visitor guide magazines which include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find New Bern visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Finding the best rental home in Indian Beach:
- Select a group leader, choose your vacation week, and choose a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Summer Winds A-318, Oceanfront Condo in Indian Beach, NC! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally available on booking pages. Otherwise, call the property owner before you book the vacation property. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
- If your family is vacationing with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
- Are you visiting for a single event? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking
Some things to know before you go:
- Add the property manager's contact information to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of problems.
- Lock your rental home while you're away. Keep your property safe!
- To make sure damages are not linked to your visit, record any problem areas when you arrive. Get in touch with the host right away to relay any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers disrupting your peaceful home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would've never otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Upon check-out, complete a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property owners rely on good feedback to drive future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
