Tips to get the very best New Bern rental home experience:
Finding your perfect vacation home:
- Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer months are high season in Atlantic Beach. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is a great way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Booking websites typically offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
- Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply New Bern area visitor guides that include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself.
