  • 3 Bedrooms
  • 2 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home

This clean, bright, and open 3 bedroom, 2 bath home accommodates up to 8 people and has off-street parking.

The main living space’s floorplan combines the living and dining areas with a beautiful kitchen that is ready for memory-making wine and cheese golden hours, long-lasting brunches, or family game nights. Plenty of prep space for dinners at home, and the kitchen conveniently leads out to the screened-in porch.

The primary bedroom features a bathroom en suite with a dual sink vanity. In addition, the cavernous, tiled shower provides a relaxing spa feel. Walk-in closet has a window with a ‘peak-a-book’ view of the ocean and doubles ideally as an office to meet any telecommuting needs.

The second bedroom is equally as accommodating and calming. The sizable closet will keep you organized during your stay and a pocket door is one of two entrances into the huge second bathroom, which also has a dual sink vanity, bathtub, and a water closet that provides the utmost privacy so you can really focus on your Words With Friends showdowns.

Bedroom three has two sets of bunkbeds for your little ones or friends who were the last to send you the Venmo for their portion of the cost for your phenomenal hideaway and time together. In addition, savor the wall-mounted flatscreen Intelligent TV that is ideal for late nighttime binge-watching.

Tons of usable space for calming outside on the screened-in porch with an upsized picnic table, which is adjacent to the deck. In addition, plenty of covered storage available under the home for bicycles and beach gear.

Ready for ocean therapy? You will be toes in the sand after a leisurely three-min. walk from Top Pocket Find.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Tips and Tricks to get the best vacation rental experience:

Sticking to your rental budget:

  • To find the best value, try changing your vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply New Bern area travel guides which will include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • First and foremost, have your family commit to the best dates and a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. TOP POCKET FIND takes on Emerald Isle, NC has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is generally available on booking websites. Otherwise, contact the host before reserving your home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to determine what bed configuration is best for your group.
  • Does your family require unique amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

Additional considerations:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your smartphone.
  • Record any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if there is a dispute.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your home life. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on great ratings to propel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
