There you will also find ferry rides to Cape Lookout, sunset cruises, dolphin watches and wild horses on Carrot Island, many fine eateries and stores, old historic homes, and a must see Maritime Museum. Saturdays, from April through November, stroll through the Beaufort Market. You can also take a short drive over the bridge into Morehead City and appreciate the beach from Atlantic Beach or down the island to Emerald Isle.
