Tips and Tricks to get the best vacation property experience:
When to book & When to go:
- Summer months are high season in Indian Beach. To find the best value, consider shifting your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
- In the New Bern area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
- Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Many rental management companies supply New Bern area visitors guides which will include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Finding the best vacation rental in Indian Beach:
- Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and select a max budget.
- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. Fun in the sun only steps from your door! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is often accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property manager before you reserve your home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- If there's a certain New Bern attraction you simply love, search for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly rental. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
More tips for your stay:
- Be sure you get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home.
- To make sure that no damages are linked to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the host right away to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected everything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental one final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
- Did your group have a excellent stay? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
