• Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let crooks ruin your family vacation.
• To make sure that damages aren't linked to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the host right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
• Be respectful. Often times, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
