This property is located in a peaceful neighborhood with a private walkway to beach access. The beach access is roughly a 5 min. walk and there is a beach cart on the first floor in the closet for beach towels, chairs, and beach toys.

Our family beach home is available for your next beach vacation! Featuring 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms on three levels to accommodate your family. Complete with Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Microwave, 4 TV’s, outdoor shower, and gas grille. Also, cavernous open and covered decks with furnishings. The top level features a den with a Queen Sleeper Couch and half bath .

Reverse floor plan with open concept, living/dining on top floor (3rd level). Mid level features 3 bedrooms; one with Queen and full private bath. Savor the jack and jill full bath with 2 bedrooms, each with 2 twins on this level. Ground level with exterior access is Queen bed with full bath and roomy sitting area. Beach access is located at the end of the street. Bikes are a great way to get around the Island on the paved, Town wide Bicycle/Walking Path. Public Boat launch and dock area is just a short walk away for boating or taking in beautiful sunsets on the Sound! New decks on each level, 2017. It is time you put your feet in the sand, relax and appreciate some “Simple Pleasures”!

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect vacation rental experience:

When to visit Emerald Isle & When to reserve a New Bern rental home:

  • Summer is high season in the New Bern area. To get the best value, consider changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.

  • If there's an individual New Bern beach you simply love, look for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable breeds and types before booking.

  • Be sure you get the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental.

  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Protect your property!
  • Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to compel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
