Additional Conveniences Include: High Speed Wireless Internet, 6 Color Cable TVs, 2 DVD Players, a Stereo with a CD Player, a Washer/Dryer, Charcoal Park Grille, Central Air/Heat, a Gas Fireplace, an Enclosed Hot/Cold Outside Shower, and an Open Deck with Furnishings.
NOTE: Garage and exterior lift are NOT part of the rental. Not for guests use at any time.

Linens and towels supplied with beds made (weekly stays only).

No Smoking. Family Animals Stay Free- No Pet Fee for Your Vacation! (2 Dogs Max)

Rents weekly from Sunday to Sunday. Rents nightly with a 2-nighttime minimum stay, off-season only.

Please Note: Management Company reserves the right to deny stays less than 7 nights, if the arrival date is more than 30 days out from the booking date. Stays less than 7 nights, with an arrival date between mid-April to mid-October, are stringently prohibited unless approved by management.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this vacation home is by the ocean. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Flatwaters Paddling and Emerald Isle Adventures. The Sweet Spot and Emerald Forest Golf are also worth visiting.

Sticking to a spending budget:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in the New Bern area. To get the best rental for your budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular New Bern attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Find a copy of your local New Bern visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines contain coupons for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a fantastic stay? Many rental managers make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
