This Atlantic Beach gem has one overwhelming feature — the impressive vistas of the salt marsh, Hoop Pole Creek and Bogue Sound! Whether you’re sitting on the top balcony or down at the pool and spa, you will be overlooking the gorgeous salt marsh. You can observe dozens of species of birds, watch boats passing through the Bogue Sound and feel the cool salty breeze on your face.

The home has everything you need for a ideal Atlantic Beach stay — a entirely-supplied kitchen with gas stove, comfortable King-size beds in each of the four bedrooms, and everything you need to savor the beach (umbrella, chairs, wagon, towels), which is a short walk away.

Delightfully decorated, it’s ideal for families, girls’ weekend, family reunion or a couples’ getaway. The home features two master bedrooms with private bathrooms, and two additional bedrooms that share a huge bathroom. Every bedroom has a King bed (linens are supplied) and flat-screen TV. Three of the four bedrooms have spectacular water vistas and all rooms have direct access to one of the two balconies.

The home has an elevator and an open floor plan. The comfortable living room has a sizable T.V. (connected to YouTube TV), a gas fireplace and access to the top balcony with extraordinary water vistas. The dining area has a 6-person table, bar seating, and access to another modest balcony with a table and chairs. There is a “rec room” downstairs with a ping-pong table and flat-screen TV along with 2 Daybed Futon Sofas that sleep an additional 2 (this garage has its own HVAC system for comfort). A backyard patio has a gas grille and table and chairs around a fire pit overlooking the heated pool and spa with waterfall feature. The backyard is fenced for privacy. You can set up the corn hole game while you’re grilling out!

You can stay at the home and prepare your favorite dishes, or drive to one of the many close-by eateries. A grocery store (and a few eateries, gift stores and clothing stores) is a two-min. drive away. Head across the bridge to Morehead City or historic Beaufort to look at the boats and grab a great meal, and maybe even take a guided tour. The NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is a short drive.

The beach, with its emerald-green waters, is a 10-min. walk, or a fast drive to public parking. You can park in Atlantic Beach’s “Boardwalk” area with painless access to a delicious lunch or cold drink.

You’ll appreciate this handsome home with spectacular vistas and all of the amenities you need for a ideal vacation!

Tips to get the perfect New Bern vacation property experience:

Get the best value:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To get the best value, change your family's New Bern vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer excellent weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guides contain coupons for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • Begin by selecting trip dates and a budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Two KING masters! Private Pool and Spa! has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, reach out to the property management company before you book the rental. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine which bed configuration is best for your group.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you must book a pet-friendly property. Ask for information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Is your family looking for special amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking

Considerations for your stay:

  • Get the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your . Store the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Lock your rental while you are out. Protect your property!
  • Document any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to drive more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
