Step aboard an 18’ bateau (flat-bottom skiff) for a 2-person private tour through remote areas of the Rachel Carson Reserve. Your 3-hour tour begins and ends on the Beaufort Waterfront and explores the natural history and ecology of the 4 main components of the Reserve: Town Marsh, Bird Shoal, Horse Island, and Carrot Island. You’ll look for dolphins, turtles, and wild horses during your transit along the shores and through the tidal creeks of the Reserve.
