New 2024 SEASON .....8 in BLACKSTONE GRIDDLE. Upper level carpet is now gone. The home, if possible, feels even more open with the NEW LUXURY VINYL FLOORS and new AREA RUGS. Appreciate the most impressive beach on the East Coast from this serene light-filled oceanfront home. The clean design and magnificent open floor plan make it the ideal place to bring family and friends, with the Atlantic Ocean as your front yard. Due to the unusual orientation of Bogue Bank, you can watch the sun rise AND set from the dramatic deck of this midcentury modern home.
Simple pleasures for all ages abound: long morning walks, body surfing, world class shell collecting, watching porpoises play from the deck, sunbathing and just getting lost in a good book. Food even tastes better on the screened porch! Serve up a casual seafood supper on the breezy screened porch as the sun begins to set.
OUTDOOR- PRIVATE HOT-COLD SHOWER that is a MUST experience!
Three comfortable bedrooms and two baths on the main floor, including a bright and cavernous oceanfront master suite. The lower level with direct beach access offers an additional king bedroom, bath and a sizable bunk room to sleep 6, ideal for cousins or single guests. This is accessed from the indoor steps from the great room.
There are only ten steps to the beach from the lower level.
The home is located in a sleepy beachside community. The nearest major attraction is the amazing North Carolina Aquarium less than five mins. away. Enjoyable eateries are within a ten-min. drive.
This midcentury modern home was constructed in the late 1970's and has remained in our family. It has been adored by four generations.
The vistas are fantastic. All but one bedroom, have oceanfront vistas.
If your group is 'all about the beach,' this is the home for you.

How to get the best rental experience:

When to go & When to reserve a Pine Knoll Shores rental home:

  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Hosts sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Many property management companies supply New Bern area visitors guides which include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Selecting and booking the rightrental home:

  • To start, have your family select date ranges and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Ocean Front Emerald Isle - Pine knoll Shores - PET FRIENDLY has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our New Bern rental home search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is often available on booking pages. If not, contact the property manager before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or charges applied to your invoice.
  • Visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental

Advice for a fantastic stay:

  • Add the owner's information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many issues.
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • To ensure that no damages are linked to your visit, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. message the host immediately to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic time? Most rental managers make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
