Southwinds E-13 is located on the third floor and has spectacular ocean and sound vistas. Vistas from every window. Great for families or a charming hideaway for two, with simple access to the beach and pool. One pool is located next to this building. Totally refreshed. Immaculate condition. 2 bedrooms, 2 full big bathrooms. 2 queen beds, 2 twin bunk beds - sleeps 6. Full kitchen: microwave, dishwasher, glass top stove, refrigerator, new front loading washer/dryer. WiFi access for entire complex including the pools. 40" HD TV, Blu-Ray player and Roku in Living Room. 32" HD TV and Roku in main bedroom. Southwinds is a family friendly ocean front condominium with two swimming pools, grilles, and additional laundry facilities on site. It is a short drive down the road or a short walk down the beach to get to Fort Macon State Park. No smoking and no family pets! Southwinds does not allow trailers or boats to be parked here. Parking passes for two cars. Includes bedroom linens, bath towels, and cleaning. Family friendly and great for kids in the summer. In the Spring/Fall and shoulder weeks, great for romantic getaways and slow calming.

Located in Atlantic Beach, this condo is by the ocean. Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail and Rachel Carson Reserve reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and North Carolina Maritime Museum. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and Mount Maker Charters are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Summer is the most expensive season in the New Bern area. Booking in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • In the New Bern area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses.
