Booking the best Atlantic Beach rental experience:
Getting the best rental value:
- Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To get the best value, try changing your family's New Bern vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer great weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
- Owners sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
- Find a copy of your local New Bern area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Selecting the best rental home in Atlantic Beach:
- Start by having your family commit to the best dates and a maximum budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Coastal Soul B- water view and beach access\n\n has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our New Bern vacation rental search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. If not, call the property manager before you book your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks.
- Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
- Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or charges could be applied to your agreement.
Additional considerations:
- We recommend storing the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
- Note any issues with the property at check in, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of problems.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
- When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Leave feedback! Hosts rely on great reviews to compel future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
