Your view is unparalleled and you are steps form the beach. It is simply a unique heaven that is pet-friendly. It is usually booked all summer, so act now!

The beach is wide and you can sit on the deck to look for the dolphins or make your way to the beach to body surf or relax. The walk to the Point is awesome. The Point is where the sound and the ocean meet and is very unique. It is a vast expanse of beach and you will see an occasional fisherman and boats heading out to the ocean.
The space
We have four bedrooms. The master with a Queen. Bedroom 2 with two double beds, a third bedroom that shares the bathroom with the Bedroom 2 that has a double and a single. There is an additional bedroom on the 1st floor that has two double beds. A full basement with an additional TV and a pull out couch. All bedrooms have TVs, but watch the sunset!

The TVs are intelligent or have a Roku so you can log in and use your own Netflix etc. We have numerous beach chairs and beach toys and bicycles for your use.

The deck is packed with chairs and a modest table for your coffee in the morning. We have a sizable table for dinner that sits six conveniently, a bar that sits three, and another enormous bar table with four stools. Anywhere you sit, you see the view.

About the Area

Emerald Isle is home to this vacation home. Emerald Forest Golf and Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. Salty Pirate Water Park and Emerald Isle Adventures are also worth visiting.

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • In the New Bern area, The sooner you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Book your rental in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance.   • Walk through the property a final time and look for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a great stay? Most rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
