This third-row bungalow is an simple short walk to the beach - out the door and straight ahead one block to the access. When you return from the beach, wash off in the enclosed shower in the back. Sandfiddler is all on one level with no steps to deal with. Appreciate the screened porch with a ceiling fan or an open deck on the back is great for hanging out while the grilling expert grilles dinner.

Sandfiddler has an open living room, dining, and kitchen area. The full kitchen has an oven/range, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Kick back on the couches and appreciate watching TV on the huge TV or pop a movie into the DVD player. There is also a separate modest living area that is the ideal setup for gaming for the kids or getting away to read a book. The primary bedroom has a private bath. There is a utility room with a full-size washer/dryer.

Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a New Bern vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Upon check-out, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a terrific time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear about it.
