Want the RV experience but don’t have an RV? That's not a problem! If you are considering purchasing an RV and want to try out RV living without buying one, we have added an RV to our vacation units. It is a 2022, 28-foot 5th Wheel with two slides that we are now renting as a Vacation Rental. It has a queen-sized bed with plenty of storage space for all your belongings, a full kitchen and bath, a Intelligent TV, a fireplace in the living room and bedroom, and a dining area/living room area. The RV sleeps two comfortably, but the dining room booths convert to a double bed.

The RV is close to the Intracoastal Waterway and a short distance to Historic Beaufort, Havelock, Newport, Morehead City, and Atlantic Beach. Bring your boat, you have complimentary access to the boat ramp and fishing pier. We have boats to rent for ½ and a full day on-site. We can hook (no pun intended) you up with a charter boat if you want to fish offshore. Downtown Beaufort has an array of amazing stores and superb eateries. When you book, we will give you a map of the area, coupons, and a special offer when you return!

Tips for getting the perfect New Bern rental home experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Summer time is high season in Beaufort. Booking in the Spring or Fall is a great way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Some owners offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local New Bern visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guides contain deals for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Narrow your Search:

  • First and foremost, have your family agree to date ranges and a budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Charming RV in Fantastic Beaufort with AC, WiFi has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our New Bern rentals search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is almost always available on booking websites. If not, call the property management company before you reserve the home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to work out what configuration is right for your vacation family.
  • If there's a particular New Bern beach you crave, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or costs applied to your invoice.

More tips for your visit:

  • Add the owner's contact information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Upon check-in, make note of any issues with the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a excellent time? Many rental managers make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
